We serve the LGBTQ lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community, but our doors are — and always will be — open too all. Stepping Stone has been providing excellent residential treatment for people suffering from alcohol and drug dependence for over 40 years. Many of our clients transition to sober living environments after the residential phase of treatment. All participants are encouraged to participate in recovery services for as long as possible after residential treatment. Your counselor will work with you continue the journey you started by entering residential treatment.

Gay-Friendly Wedding Vendors
The San Diego gay nightlife scene manages that rare balance between being remarkably friendly and also rife with beautiful people—it's pretty much a reflection of this sunny Southern California city. Gay bars have also been pretty stable here over the years, with the most popular hangouts going strong for a couple of decades. Most gay bars are in the trendy Hillcrest neighborhood, just northeast of Balboa Park and a short drive or cab ride from downtown.
